Why Clydesdales?

The answer is simple,  What an exceptional breed the Clydesdale horse is! Their thundering hooves, flowing hair, style, action, grace and wonderful disposition made the Clydesdale horse our choice for raising, training and selling here in Virginia, where the Thoroughbred horse reigns. Besides, who could not fall in love with a Clyde after a Budweiser commercial!

So in 2004, KelMar Clydesdales was established with the purchase of our first 4 Clydesdale mares. We are hands on, family owned breeding farm with emphasis on quality and temperament, while promoting these incredible gentle giants here in Virginia. We show our horses locally here in Virginia.
